Safeguarding health from climate-related stress in arid lands, looks at research into the complex relationships among air and water pollution in arid environments and efforts to improve human health and develop new strategies to protect vulnerable people from heat- and drought-related illness and disease by producing impactful interventions for risk detection, preparedness and crisis management.

These presentations highlight the development of advanced sensor technologies coupled with artificial intelligence to guide health interventions and other strategies to address pollution and its negative impacts on human health.
