Hello and Thanks for joining us for this chapter in our Time Attack Project ! This video recaps the latest work we have done on project R X K 8 ATE. Including a few upgrades and side missions we are starting.

1. Modifying the factory DS floor pan. The DS seat mounting brackets and sheet metal have been removed to provide a lower seat mounting position for the driver. Drivers 6' and over should be easy to accommodate in this car.

2. Exhaust - Sponsored by Vibrant Performance : I had a crazy idea to center mount the exhaust. I wanted it high, so the trunk pan got cut and replaced with a removable panel. This will let us fire the exhaust where the license plate used to be. Super unique look and allows us to high light the titanium pipe work.

3. Bumper cut aero mod: Popular opinion says this reducing drag in the rear and provides some aerodynamic benefit. My opinion... It looks cool!

4. Sparco Seat, Thanks to Sparco and JRP for getting us a cool seat at a discounted price. The seat is super comfy and form fitting to the waist. Providing lots of stiffness and safety in the car is the most important thing. Racing is physically demanding enough on its own. If you have to contort your body to hold your eyes straight is something ive explored in other cars already... NOT FUN.
