Another favorite Beatles track of mine. Great example of Ringo’s straightforward approach to odd time signatures. Love the way he just plows straight through in 4/4 over the 12/8 doo wop sort of section: “when I hold you in my arms and I feel my finger on your trigger…” Gives it such a cool and unexpected feel. Not sure if it was intentional but I have always dug it.
