Currently closed to the public due to the pandemic, the Tanirokujima Art Museum (谷六島美術館) has recently opened its doors to some feathered friends from the nearby zoo. The flamingos have reportedly missed regularly interacting with zoo visitors, so a field trip was arranged to provide them with some much-needed mental stimulation.

This is available as a piece of tokenized artwork on SuperRare. I wanted to make this piece as an exploration of how value, storytelling, and appropriation function in a new medium like this. How does this new context affect our perception of the original artwork?
