Look at the goal you're chasing around intrusive thoughts and other brain stuff. We may not even consider what we're doing as involving a goal or any kind of choice. It may feel necessary, like something we should do. But we don't need to clean away that brain stuff. It can be there. We can't let go of it if we're holding onto it because we want to throw it out the window.
