I have been fishing my whole life, in the lower 48 as well as Alaska. Great rod and fun fishing but I must comment on your fishing etiquette. You let the fish beat itself up on the bank, your not gentle about ripping the hook out of the fishes mouth and the one you threw back was dead. If your going to take your fish home, kill it or at least put it out of its misery and if your going to throw it back in the water at least be gentle so it does have the chance of survival for future fishing.

"FUN FISHing" is where it's one after another but it's rare to have it happen too often. Did it once w/ Bull Brim in Atchafalaya Basin/Swamp where I filled a large ice chest up in a few hours & another was Spec's in a place kinda like where you are now except in the dark under a light in about 14inches of water. I laid my pole down w/ the bait hanging in about 14-16 inches of water & caught a fish. Did it over n over for an hour before I had to quit. Frenzied fishing is so fun but it doesn't happen enough. I love this.... peace

I live in the NE and the one thing I've always LOVED about Summer flounder fishing; you can be catching Short after Short and then Hook a DOORMAT. You just NEVER KNOW.
