It's almost like you curated this video for me. I got a haircut a couple of weeks ago and I've been learning how to implement the hair dryer to change my hairstyle to look wavy. This video came out the perfect time. Thanks! @TheSalonGuy

@leandrob26

As a guy that for 26 years had straight hair, found your channel after getting fascinated about the Outer Banks surfer hairstyles and searching a bit about how i could get my hair wavy, thank you so much for the straight forward tutorial and simple use of a really few products to help achieve this, you're the best!

@ilovesalmon215

1. hair treatment and comb
2. sea salt spray and comb
3. scrunch hair , hold it in place for 1 sec , blow dry it 6:55
3.5 press diffuser onto hair and swirling motion
4. sea salt spray again and lock it in place with scrunches

๐ŸŽฏ Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

00:00 ๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ It's easier to achieve waves in longer hair. Short hair can get texture, but longer hair allows more manipulation.
01:08 ๐ŸŒ€ Wetting or washing the hair will revert it to normal straightness, unless chemically treated.
02:16 ๐Ÿ’ฆ Use a foundational spray before styling, like the 25 Spray, which offers 25 hair benefits.
03:52 ๐ŸŒŠ Use Tidal Wave to enhance waves. Only a few spritzes are needed for best results.
05:30 ๐ŸŒ€ Utilize a blow dryer with a magnetic diffuser to soften the airflow and prevent frizz.
06:26 ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Scrunch hair with fingers and blow dry to create waves. Avoid shaking or running fingers through the hair while drying.
11:47 โœ‚๏ธ The right haircut with layers is crucial for enhancing and maximizing the texture of straight hair.
14:49 โš ๏ธ Some tools, like the blow dryer, are only compatible with the US due to voltage. Ensure compatibility before purchasing.- 00:00 ๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ It's easier to achieve waves in longer hair. Short hair can get texture, but longer hair allows more manipulation.

Gotta appreciate the coach not the hero we want but the hero we need

@Mrzoux1

Man I've been growing my naturally curly italian hair lately and all these barbers use a hair dryer to do the craziest most beautiful things. I guess I'll have to cop one damn it

@worldmusictheory

i have a layered cut similar to the manequin but no matter how hard i try my hair just wont go wavy like it does in the vid. i have a diffuser and use sea salt spray to no avail.

@jobra7624

Shits legit, be sure also to use a paste/clay dor hold and shine if u want it . I even managed it without a defuser, only normal blow dryer

@blaiddfumbler

this is exactly what I needed a few days ago before they cut my hair......

@evolgenius1150

I use mousse, and a blow dryer with a diffuser. I typically have straight hair until it's long, then it's between 3C and 2A. I can get it to 3A or B with this. I'll use the moose to "mould" my hair, then when it's dry I "break the mould" using some hair oil or some sea salt water and scrunching.

@keeski8926
